A- View all subprojects of the project  
A simple click will open or close the subprojects linked to this project. It is a simple dropdown menu to facilitate your browsing.

B- View the subproject's tasks  
A simple click will open or close the tasks linked to this project. It is a simple dropdown menu to facilitate your browsing.

C- Change a subproject's tasks color  
A simple click allows you to set a color for a subproject's tasks. This way, you can easily find these tasks in your supervisor interface.

D- Task's priority  
Clicking here allows you to set the task's priority, 0 being the first task to execute. You can determine your own signification for the information you enter here.

E- Read task's complete description  
By clicking on the eye, you get the complete description of the task and you can see if there is a message, a file or anything else associated with it. To view the rest of this information, just click on the task's name and you will be taken to Basecamp.

F- Name of the designated employee  
Shows the name of the employee in charge of this task. You can change by clicking the pencil "N" on the right.

G- Description and access to the task in Basecamp  
One click will take you the description of this task in Basecamp. This allows you to see messages, files and others associated with the task, and you can enter the amount of work done on this task.

H- Subproject's name  
Name of the subproject.

I- Subproject's color  
To change the color, simply click the palette "C" on the left. This way, you can easily find these tasks in your supervisor interface.

J- Luminous indicator for updates and problems  
Shows if a worker needs more information to complete a task or if there is news concerning it. A simple click will allow to change the light.
- Flashing red light
Means that the worker is in need of information or awaiting something else to complete his task; he can specify his needs with a message in Basecamp.
- Flashing blue light
Indicates an informatio update following either a problem reported by a worker or something else. The update can be further described in a message in Basecamp.
- Turned off
Means that everything is going smoothly.
- Blue light
Meaning of your choice.

You can choose any different meaning for the lights if you wish to.

K- Luminous task progress indicator  
These lights are the basis of VisioPlanning. They provide information that was not available before. You can now know what your employees are working on at the moment and how much of the work has already been done.
The closer the lights get to blue, the closer the task is to completion. The worker is the one to update these lights and his precision will allow you to get a better overview of his work. A few seconds per day are all it takes to keep his interface up to date.
Three states are possible for a single position (other than turned off). Right click on a light to set its state.

- The flashing light means that the employee is working on this task at the moment
- The dark light means that the employee has completed that much of the work
- The clear light means that this is the first task the employee will work on when he arrives

You can choose any different meaning for the lights if you wish to.

 

L- Subproject's color indicator

 
Indicates the color assigned to this subproject.

M- Add a task  
You can a task to the subproject of your choice with a simple click. You don't have to go to Basecamp to create it, it will be added automatically.

N- Modifying the description and the linked worker

 
With a single click, you can edit the task's description and the person linked to it.

O- Close task

 
In a single click you close the task. This option is not available in the worker's interface.

P- Luminous subproject progress indicator

 
This luminous indicator shows the average progress of all tasks included in the subproject. The closer the lights are to blue, the closer the subproject is to completion. You can also see who is working on this subproject at the moment.

This luminous indicator shows the average progress of all tasks included in the project. The closer the lights are to blue, the closer the project is to completion. You can also see who is working on this project at the moment.

R- Refresh information  
In a single click, you can refresh the information. The default refresh is set to occur every 5 minutes.

S- Open/close all projects and subprojects  
- A first click on the downward arrow opens all projects and subprojects.

- A second click on the downward arrow opens all tasks of all subprojects.

- The upward arrow closes all opened tasks and subprojects.

T- Open/close the window  
A single click opens or closes the window.

U- Project's name  
To create a new project, you have to use Basecamp. VisioPlanning does not offer this possibility for now.

V- Window's name  
Shows the window's name.
